The Lagos Philharmonic

The Lagos Philharmonic is Nigeria’s first modern and contemporary orchestral ensemble. It consists of 45 classically trained musicians, playing western orchestral instruments, African instruments such as Talking Drum, Djembe and Shekere, as well as modern electronic instruments. The orchestra is led by Creative Director, Ré Olunuga, whose work has been performed in London and New York and used in international media campaigns by Etisalat, Maki Oh and Mercedes Benz.
